Altun Ha Mayan Temples was surprisingly rich major ceremonial center occupied during The Classic Period. Walk through the same path of the Mayas amongst some of the mounds that have been partially excavated and restored. Here in this city, buried inside the Sun God Temple, which stands 54 feet from the plaza floor, was where the largest carved Jade object in the Mayan world was found.
Travel back in time and feel the presence of an ancient civilization come alive; hike above some of its highest monumental structures where the elite families once occupied and enjoy a spiritual and panoramic view from above.

Thrilling Canopy Zip Lining
If you are a thrill seeker, this is your chance to experience sitting in a harness and flying at “roller coaster speeds” as you set off for this most amazing and most popular outdoor adventure.
Zip lining is an exhilarating experience with spectacular views and a perspective you won’t get anywhere else in Belize. Zip lining is as close as you can get to flying over the jungle. Get a bird’s eye view as you gear up and strap in for a ride that takes you over the treetops, on lines that take you up above ground for terrific views of the jungle rushing below.
There is a total of 6 platforms ,4 of which is across the Old Belize River and 1 hammock bridge. This is truly a heart pounding adventure that is sure to please you!

Cave Tubing Adventure and Rainforest Tour

If you crave adventure and history ,then cave tubing is the number one activity for you!
You will be picked up personally as we make our way to the banks of the unique river- cave system called Caves Branch. Upon arrival, you will be provided with modern tubes with cup holders, life vests, LED headlights, Petzl helmets. We then start our hike through the rainforest to the cave system where we explain the use of medicinal plants and point out the toucan birds, and endangered Green Iguanas.
One Interesting thing you will find out on this tour is that the Mayas believed that caves were their underworld meaning their “little hell”. So caves for them were known as a “Place of fear”. So when you finish cave tubing, you can say you went to hell and back!
After our hike along the rainforest, we reach the point in the river that leads into the cave system. The water is crystal clear with hues of blue and green that just invite you to jump in. As you float downstream through the cave passages, you will learn about the geology and ancient history of the limestone cave system, Mayan culture , and the indigenous inhabitants who used the caves for their ceremonial purposes for thousands of years.
